We are pleased that you have selected our institution to pursue your educational goals. UNC offers New Student Orientation for all freshmen, transfer students, and their family and guests. Purpose of OrientationOrientation to any university is a process. The New Student Orientation program at UNC is the first step to the orientation process. The entire campus participates in New Student Orientation and gives students the foundation for a successful first year. Our goal is, also, to inform parents about the university and include them in their students' educational journey. MissionThe Office of Academic Support and Advising is committed to student success through partnerships with campus and student communities. ASA provides academic and personal growth opportunities for a diverse student body through a variety of customized support services that meet individual needs.
