Freshman Requirements for Fall 2008
- An index of 94 or higher
- Completion a total of 15 college prep units:
- 4 units/years of English
- 3 units of Math
- 3 units of Natural/Earth Science (two with lab work)
- 3 units of Social Science (at least one in U.S. History or World History)
- 2 units of Electives
- 4 units/years of English
- Or you have a GED score of a 550 composite.
- In addition, 18% of freshmen applicants can be admitted if their index is below 94. Admissions exceptions are handled on an individual basis for those with an index below 94.
- You must clear the UNC application question regarding crime history (traffic violations are an exception).
- Home school students are evaluated individually. Transcripts, ACT and/or SAT scores are required if you are a home school applicant.
Freshman Requirements for Fall 2010
- Completion of 18 total college prep units:
- 4 units (years) of English
- 4 units of Math
- 3 units of Natural/Earth Science (two courses must have lab work)
- 3 units of Social Science (at least one course must be in U.S. History and/or World History)
- 2 units Foreign Language (must be from the same language)
- 2 units of Electives
- 4 units (years) of English
- Or you have a GED score of a 550 composite.
Residency Requirements
If the Admissions Department requests Colorado residency information, please submit this form.
Term Changes
If you apply as a freshmen and do not attend Northern Colorado or any other college and change your enrollment term within one year of the original application date, no additional application or processing fee is required.
